You will play a major role in the development, maintenance, and deployment of the Company's many exciting web-based solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Manager of Web Services, this demanding role requires strong Java and J2EE skills developing seamless web-based applications. The ideal candidate should have demonstrable project experience working with these technologies combined with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum 3+ years development experience creating web based applications using Java and J2EE (samples will be required during the interview process).
2. Business-tier design, development and implementation using Java and J2EE (samples will be required during the interview process)
3. Extensive experience using XML, JSP and STRUTS in a 3-tiered architecture (samples will be required during the interview process)
Ability to manage time and energy to meet multiple project deadlines
4. Strong communication skills
5. Experience in writing extensive code documentation (samples will be required during the interview process)
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
1. Java/J2EE
2. XML, XSL, HTML and JSP
3. STRUTS and MVC
4. mySQL database experience
5. SUN Certified accreditation is a definite asset
6. Experience working with Internet based payment solutions an asset
