Job Description
Required skills
" Well versed in Web standards and technologies, e.g. CSS, HTML,
DHTML, and JavaScript.
" Java Script experience
" Graphics experience
" CGI/Perl experience
" Familiar with XML and XSLT
" Experience with various operating systems, including Windows
95, 2000, NT and
XP, Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, UNIX, Linux.
" Experience with multiple web browsers and browser compliance
" Full life-cycle experience with knowledge of design,
construction and testing a must.
" Must have ability to plan work effectively and deliver on time
with minimal supervision
" Attention to details and response quickly to critical
operational issues.
" Must have eagerness to learn and motivated to work as part of
the team
" Must have excellent verbal and written skills and the ability
to work in a team environment.
Desired skills
" Three to five years web site development experience.
" Previous experience with HP web standards is highly desirable.
" Experience with testing processes and tools is desirable.
" Ability to accurately estimate time needed to complete various
jobs is very desirable.
" Self-motivated, but able to work in teams and take direction.
" Experience with graphic design tools, e.g. Photoshop, is a
plus, but not required.
Desired experience
" Must have worked on corporate customer-facing web sites in a
production role.
" Education: BS in CS, EE, or related field.
