here are some of my thoughts.
1. Good knowledge of the product. You have to be able to convience your customer that you know what you are talking about.
2. The value of the solution. Presenting the features of the products/solution is a small portion in a sales cycle. If the customer doesn't recognize the value of the products and servies and consequently don't ask for enough in return. You sales call is failed. So I would say being an excellent sales you must be able to seek to understand, develop and deliver unique customer value which can solve a serious problem or creat an opportunity.
3. yes. You've got to have a very nice personality. Your prospects have to like you!
Sales profession is very challenging. It's full of opportunities and possibilities. I think thats why i chose to be a sales. Maximize the opportunity both as a brand and an individual !!
