SR SQL PA
Bring your expertise in Microsoft SQL Server to our R&D group at
DataMirror. This is not your average maintenance and enhancement
position. You will play a key role in designing and developing our new
product release! We are looking for talented MS SQL Server certified
developers capable of authoring real time data capture, transformation
and
distribution modules. Join a solid development team of experienced real
time server developers. Expertise with transactional real time
applications
is a
prerequisite.
Along with your university degree in Computer Science or Computer
Engineering, you have at least 10 years of relevant development
experience including at least five years working with MS SQL Server.
Certifications:
. Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
You have a strong background in database design, performance tuning,
transactional logging, replication and other advanced database
concepts.
This is not a DBA job, you need deep experience with multithreaded
applications, data transformation and have a sound knowledge of
software
architectures, OOA/OOD and design patterns. In addition to your
technical
skills, you have a strong personality, are not afraid to voice your
opinion
to others and your leadership abilities are recognized by your team
members..
Specific Skills/Knowledge:
5+ years MS SQL Server database administration, programming,
tuning/optimization.
8+ years programming experience in C/C++/Java
Self confident.
Highly skilled communicator, both written and verbal.
Well practiced in the Software Development Life Cycle.
Positive attitude and willingness to focus on goals and timelines.
