KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
THIS IS A 6 MONTH CONTRACT*
Develop and execute tests and test strategies/methodology/quality audit reviews
to improve driver quality
With your knowledge and experience of CAD/DCC applications and hardware
acceleration concepts you will participate in all phases of the software
development cycle including but not limited to development of test
strategies/methodology/quality audit reviews to drive upstream testing.
Test Case/Plan development consisting of Functional testing, negative testing,
customer/end user testing, performance, reliability and usability
Identify matrices and measurements for all aspect of the software QA development
cycle.
Evaluation/review of all new or existing processes, comparing them to
established procedures and standards both technical and non-technical and
champion where applicable.
Develop and implement quality control and improvement processes
Test Automation, ability to define requirements and or automate existing test
cases.
Manual/automated test execution and reporting
System (PC) configuration and management (Windows OSes)
REQUIREMENTS
Post secondary degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics
Diploma or certificate in DCC or CAD
Strong knowledge of 3D graphics concepts, DirectX and / or OpenGL, middleware,
and game engine technologies
Experience in multi-disciplinary QA process environments
Familiar with aspects of product development, such as lifecycles, software
process methodology and product deployment
Test case/plan execution and generation
Self-starter able to achieve successful outcomes in a non-hierarchical
environment, with minimal supervision or direction.
Detailed oriented; ability to multitask through planning/organizing.
Communication skills: excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Experience with Workstation DCC/CAD applications (Portfolio)
