Role Description The primary role of the Junior Developer (JD) is to be a self starter and team member of a technical Information Technology (IT) project. The JD is the full-time team member on projects and will:
Serve as a junior, full-time technical design and implementation resource on his/her project
Work with a dedicated Program/Project Manager to complete coding, configuration, documentation and testing tasks as assigned
Serve as an individual contributor for key components of a client solution
Communicate timely status of all deliverables and metrics
Description of Ideal Candidate BS in Computer Science (or related field) is desired with a potential MS degree. A candidate with enough relevant work experience may be considered as well
Ability to work in a fast moving / changing environment
Excellent communication and people skills with both technical and non-technical personnel
1- 3 years of overall technical experience on projects
Experience in OOP using established OOP methodologies (Unified Method, etc.), notations (UML, etc.) and techniques (Design Patterns, etc.)
Experience in as many as possible of: J2SE,J2EE(EJB,JMS,JNDI,JDBC,etc.), XML, C/C++, CORBA
Experience working with at least one of the following major RDBMS (no DBA experience required, though): Oracle, MS SQL*Server
Experience in delivering in a CMM 3 level organization of higher preferred
Other Requirements Bi-lingual (Chinese/English) preferred
Travel required (30% intermittent)
