Position Description
This position requires an individual who can manage multiple responsibilities in the delivery of tasks while seeking ways to improve on their effectiveness and efficiency. Rather than simply being satisfied in the role, the successful candidate will have a passion for learning and making a contribution to the department while striving to be a role model in the company抯 Leadership Edge values.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Document imaging and managing the function through to its final phase of implementation
- Collections ?contacting customers for past due debts
- Account Reconciliation of Deductions and Adjustments
- Data Collection for new accounts
- Response and follow-up with internal and external customer requests and queries
Preferred Hiring Criteria
Function Finance and Administration Years Exp 1 - 2 years
Education College - 1 or 2 year program Travel No travel
Additional Language None
- Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma or willingness to enroll in a finance related program
- Preferable 1-2 years experience in a finance role with some emphasis on credit and collections
- Strong interpersonal skills and values that fit well within a team focused environment which promotes competitive edge through leadership.
- Previous food industry credit experience is considered an asset but not necessary
- Strong PC skills are required, with emphasis on standard Microsoft Office and AS400..
- Self-starter with strong initiative and the desire to continually improve.
- Highly Organized with the ability to maintain multiple priorities under time constraints.
