assistance of CMA Ontario to recruit twelve new people for their office.
The OAGO is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Auditor or
Audit Trainee.
AUDIT TRAINEES / AUDITORS

Our Office is centrally located in the Atrium on Bay at the Dundas subway
station in Toronto. Most of our audits are conducted in the Greater Toronto
Area with occasional travel to other parts of the province.
The Office employs CA's, CMA's and CGA's to conduct value-for-money audits
of virtually all aspects of the Ontario government's operations and reports
to Ontario's Legislative Assembly. The OAGO is also responsible for attest
audits of the financial statements of the province and of a wide variety of
Crown agencies, such as the LCBO, Ontario Place, Ontario Securities
Commission, and the Ontario Financing Authority.
To meet these challenges, we are seeking candidates for Trainee and Auditor
positions.
Trainee position requirements: Successful completion of CMA Entrance Exam
with minimum three work terms (Summer or co-op) of practical, related
experience. Candidates who plan to write the Entrance Exam in June 2005
will be considered. Knowledge of audit principles and techniques and
excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. The OAGO
will support the practical experience requirements of the Strategic
Leadership Program.
Auditor position requirements: motivated professionals with CMA designation
who have internal or other audit experience. Knowledge of audit principles
and techniques and excellent written and oral communication skills are
essential.
