`Our client is involved in the information technology (IT) industry since 1977. They are a leading Canadian provider of Integrated IT Solutions and Technical Services. They generate in the vicinity of $125 million in annual sales and employ some 1,000 people across the country. They are a public company that are based in Montreal with offices across the country.
They are about to Migrate 1300 systems and require a MIGRATION SPECIALIST to look after
200 systems. Majority is in GTA with one trip to Thunder Bay & one to Peterborough
Client will cover all expenses, lodging, per diem, etc.
The shift is from 4 to 12am and you will be required to migrate 4 systems per shift.
The are migrating from NT to XP and GHOST IMAGING Office, Explorer, Outlook and
some Banking applications. The proceedures are written so just get in and Migrate
the OS and the Image the app's tothe new systems. You will slso be responsible for
removing the old hardware.
MH : Migration experience for NT to XP, a car is required, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.,
configuration experience
