Junior/Intermediate Java Developer
Individual to report to software development manager and will be responsible for tasks/defects/featured assigned. 2 to 5 years experience in a Java/C/C++ development environment required.
Required
• 2 to 5 years Java development experience
• University Computer Science Degree (Bachelor, Honors or Masters)
• Working knowledge of J2EE concepts and design patterns
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience with enterprise level relational databases such as Oracle, DB/2 or SQL Server
• Hands on C/C++ experience (University Courses a bonus)
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Design/Development
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
• University business courses such as economics an asset
Recommended
• Basic knowledge of EJB applications
• Working knowledge of (D)HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Working knowledge of source code control and bug tracking systems
User Interface (UI) Developer
Individual to report to software development manager and will be responsible for tasks/defects/featured related to UI components within the Truition AMP module. 4 to 6 years experience with front end development.
Required
• 4 to 6 years experience with front end (GUI) development
• Excellent knowledge of (D)HTML, JavaScript, CSS and browser specific extensions
• Excellent knowledge of Macromedia Flash Development
• Experience with usability testing and design
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Design/Development
• Experience with XML, XSL/XSLT and DTD
• Must be able to hand code (without WYSYWIG HTML editors)
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
Recommended
• C/C++ Development Experience including MFC applications
• Java Development Experience including SWING applications
• SQL and Database Development Experience
• Working knowledge of source code control and bug tracking systems
