Description: The Ministry of the Environment's Drive Clean Office has an exciting opportunity for motivated, skilled individuals to help deliver Ontario's leading-edge drive clean program. You will: develop procedures; help monitor compliance of vehicle emission system testing/repair activities and/or initiate, co-ordinate outreach activities within alternative service delivery framework; help with issues-management, partner relations/outreach, communications with drive clean facilities, other stakeholders. One unilingual, one bilingual position.

Qualifications: sound knowledge of principles/practices of environmental science; progressively responsible experience developing/delivering technical operational policy/programs; experience in compliance/operational delivery of environmental legislation/regulations, programs; well developed technical, analytical, problem-solving, project-management skills; excellent computer, communication, negotiation skills; teamwork; diplomacy; valid driver's licence. Bilingual position requires proficiency in English and French. Less qualified applicants may be considered on an underfill basis.
