The ideal J2EE programmer/analyst candidate has the following qualifications:
1) 3 to 5 years experience with programming and analysis of 3-tier web applications. Preference will be given to candidates who have direct CMS Portal experience.
2) 3 to 5 years experience with the following:
- Database Servers: Oracle 8i/9i, DB2, and MS SQL Server
- Application Servers: Tomcat 4, BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, and JBOSS
- Web Servers: Apache and IIS 4/5
- Programming languages: JAVA, J2EE, Java Beans, JDBC, EJB, XML, and DHTML
- Operating Systems: Windows NT/2000/2003, Unix, Linux and Solaris
- Protocols followed: WIA/W3C/508, J2EE, Struts, JDBC, HTML 4.0, SSL, LDAP
3) Must have SUN Microsystems SCJP certification, SCWCD and SCBCD and SCEA are preferable.
4) Wireless experience would be an asset, but not mandatory.
5) Good command of written and spoken English
6) Professional and personable attitude, great team player, able to work within diverse programming teams.
7) Development process oriented: project management process, documentation, and communication
8) Skilled at writing functional and technical specifications
8) Experience with management or team leadership. Experience working with an outsourced team is also important but not mandatory.
10) Experience working with large corporate and government client IT teams to analyze, project manage, develop, implement, test, and modify web based applications
11) Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or Sciences.
