AAAAAAAAAA Professional Services Senior Consultant
Job Title: Senior Consultant – Service Activation
A) Purpose of the Position: AAAAAAAAAA senior consultants lead and assist Telco customers to successfully implement the AAAAAAAAAA Service Activation software products and solutions into their business operations.
B) Key Responsibilities
Duties
 Gathering and validating customer requirements for implementing solutions based on AAAAAAAAAA products
 Installation and configuration of AAAAAAAAAA core products
 Customization of the AAAAAAAAAA core products
 Support triage of customer testing issues
 Lead in the resolution of Issues determined to be caused by AAAAAAAAAA products
 Lead transfer AAAAAAAAAA product knowledge to customers
 Perform project administrative responsibilities
 Prioritize and plan work activities and mitigate project risks
 Complete tasks within scope and budget—meet deadlines
 Identify and help develop additional revenue opportunities at the customer
 Contribute to the development and maintenance of AAAAAAAAAA knowledge capital and intellectual property
 Establish and build effective relationships (internal, external and client)
 Develop and maintain a broad working knowledge of the OSS “Space”
 Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of AAAAAAAAAA product functionality
 Develop and maintain an understanding of Implementation Best Practices
C) Position Requirements
A AAAAAAAAAA Consultant position is expected to have the following background:
Education
 BS in Telecommunications, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
Skill & Knowledge
 Application software implementation and /or development experience
 Knowledge of the following business processes:
o Network Activation
o Network Provisioning
o Network Inventory
 Knowledge in the design, configuration, test and implement of OSS applications focused on the above business processes
 3+ years of experience with any one of the telecom service provider, professional services or software product company in the following area:
o Software application development/implementation Life-cycle
o Unix and/or Windows environment, BEA Weblogic (J2EE/JMS), Oracle rdbms
o One or more of the programming languages C++/ JAVA/XML and/or scripting languages
