Salary range for this position is $72-85K.
The role is to manage the information security in a distributed multi-platform environment and be a leader in promoting Security as well as revolutionize Security Services level.
Technical requirements
Skilled and knowledgeable in general management theories and practices
Organizational skills including work planning, multitasking, negotiation, knowledge management, time management, requirement management
Knowledgeable in Security, Privacy, Compliance, Policy, Regulation and Act
Expert in Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Assessment
Experience in Cryptography, Digit Certificates
Experience in Identity Management and Directory Services
Experience in use of Network Intrusion and Detection software
Knowledge of WSIB systems infrastructure, operational policies and controls
CISSP certification
Knowledge in OS390, AIX, WIN/NT/XP platform
Knowledge in TSS, Kaspersky, Mxtreme, Sessionwall, Symantec, PointSec
Competencies:
Customer focus
Managerial courage
Dealing with ambiguity
Analytical minded
Strategic thinker
Interpersonal savvy
Flexible and open to different direction
Hard working, results oriented
Willing to work outside of core hours as needed to provide appropriate support levels

Manage Information Security function and staff resources
Design, develop and implement security Policies and Procedures
Provide Project support, Security guidance, consulting and security review to across multiple technological platform, teams and business units
Evaluate security application and proposed new software packages that meet Enterprise Security Strategic
Conduct Risk Assessments, Audits, Security Awareness program
Ensure security, integrity and availability of computing services while protecting the privacy and right
