Position: Security Analyst
Location: Halifax, NS
Requirement: PERM
Salary: Open (approx. 55-60K)
Closing: July end, early Aug.
Reporting to: Director, Tech Svcs.
Experience required/skills (4-5 years):
· Expertise in development, delivery and operation of complex security solutions
· Deep technical expertise, preferably spanning a variety of technologies,
environments and vendors
· Excellent communications and presentation skills, with ability to span both
highly technical and non-technical audiences
· Ability to develop solutions balancing cost and performance, and short- and
long-term objectives
· Ability to effectively deliver multiple concurrent projects, meeting tight
deadlines
· Highly developed problem resolution skills
· Ability to effectively work as part of a cross-functional and/or
cross-technology team
· a current CCSA certification
· Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting security software
products such as Checkpoint, ISS, Symantec Enterprise, Cisco PIX, running on
various platforms such as NT/2000, and UNIX platforms.
· Experience with TCP/IP network
Must have hands on implementation experience with PIX and Symantec Enterprise.
Solid networking skills both on Windows & UNIX platforms.
