We are currently seeking a Junior Web Developer to work with a fast paced, client driven software development team. You will be responsible for designing and developing intranet and Internet web sites and applications. Applicants must have strong creative, communication and technical skills to work on all phases in the lifecycle of a web project. Applicants will be highly interested in both creating attractive, functional interfaces and programming data driven web pages.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Web Development - using Visual Studio .NET
2. Web Design - design of attractive, functional front-ends
3. Testing and Support
4. Documentation
5. Research and Development
Requirements:
1. 1-2 years designing and developing for the Web.
2. Knowledge of VB.NET/VBScript, JavaScript, MS SQL Server and HTML.
3. Knowledge of graphic tools such as Macromedia Fireworks or Adobe Photoshop.
4. Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
5. Related university degree or college diploma.
6. Experience with C# and XML is an asset.
7. MCP, CIW or other technical certifications are assets.
8. Experience with Macromedia Flash is an asset.
9. French communication skills (verbal and written) would be an asset.
