We are a group of desperate applicants of family reunion, writing to you to complain the family immigrant process in Hong Kong.
Several months ago, unfortunately, our applications were assigned to be processed by Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong, where the processing speed is so slow compared with that of Beijing. As we know, some of our friends, whose cases are processed in Beijing, have got their visa just in three or four months. But the family reunion cases in Hong Kong have to be processed at least six or seven months before we get our visa. Why do we have to wait so long? We pay the same application process fee as those of Beijing applicants, but we have to wait much much longer. Six months! 180 days! 259,200 minutes! What a painful waiting experience! We are counting minutes and even seconds! We are so missing our husbands or wives!
Dear Mr. Minister, could you please kindly consider our situation? What we ask is the same treatment as Beijing. What we need is to see our dears as early as possible. We are now asking you a favor to urge those visa officers in HK office to process our cases faster, just from a humane point of view.
