NOTE - SWAN RELEASE LIKELY TO BE POSTPONED: We have just been notified by the City of Stratford - The Municipality’s Community Services department that, due to unexpected ice on the Avon River, the swans will NOT likely be able to be released on Sunday, April 8th. (This has only happened once before in the history of the parade.) All other activities (other than the release) will continue as planned and the swans can be viewed in their winter quarters. If the ice does disrupt the swan release this weekend, the Community Services will try again next Sunday, April 15th. We apologize for these unfortunate circumstances.
