In Canada, it is hard to find job here now. Even you might find a good salary job(over 60,000 dollars/annual or more). But you do not have a job security yet, you do not know how long you may keep it. And because higher tax and some fees(25-30%), your net income might only get around 42,000 dollars. If you try to spent the money, you might have to pay 15%(or 7%) tax for your purchase. It means your money shrinks again - 35,000 dollar/per year. You need to pay your rental for apartment(750-1200 dollar/month), you might need to pay your loan to banks for your new car(370-500 dollars/month). You can caculate how much you may leave.
Remeber 7,000 yuan/per month RMB income value > 8,000 CAN dollars/per month income value

In china, people usually talk about salary which is after tax(net salary). In canade, people usually talk about salary which is before tax(gross salary). If you take Canadian dollars back to china, it will be different story. But you spent RMB in China or you spent CAN in Canada, I do not see so big different between 1 RMB and 1 dollar.

In Canada, if you make $8000/month that is about $100,000/year (before tax), you can support a house of $300,000 with 2 cars at level of Camay or Accord, even Acura or Lexus. But I don’t think you can do the -huimin(huimin); 2003-4-17 {79} (#1145461@0)
