Immigration Medical Examination again for Visitor Visa Extension purpose?

My parents came to Canada last April on Visitor Visa. They were granted visitor status extension until this April. They recently applied for extension again and got approved luckily again until this October. However, the requirement is that My mom needs to take Medical Examination in three months.

My parents applied for immigration in Buffalo USA last September, and they have taken medical examination last October. My question is, does my mom need to take medical examination again? Since she just took it three months ago. Will the Visitor Visa Office automatically find out that? (Vegreville, AB)

Another question: for their immigration application, they have a File Number. Do they also have Client IDs in PR application? It seems that for the Visitor Visa status, each of them have a Client ID.
